The Power of 5K Race is run on the race cycle track at Salt Ayre Leisure Centre. The race is almost four laps of the track. It is flat, with no sharp bends and trees provide protection from any wind. These attributes make it a fast course: the current course record is 14'11".
Link to enter on-line is on the Power of 5K Facebook page. Collect numbers and on-the day entries are in the Lancaster and Morecambe AC clubhouse, which is at the side of the athletics track. Latest time to enter and collect numbers is 1845.Toilets and change rooms are available in the clubhouse.
