Most club-run athletics tracks charge a small fee per session to cover facility upkeep, lane maintenance, and staffing - that's the fee you'll see and pay when you book through TrackSlot. Some local authority tracks do offer free public sessions at certain times; where that's the case, it'll be shown on the track's own listing.

A standard outdoor athletics track measures 400 metres for one lap of the inner lane. That makes a 5K roughly 12.5 laps, a 10K roughly 25 laps, and a full marathon (42.195km) just over 105 laps - useful to know if you're pacing a session rather than running by feel.
It varies by track. Many welcome non-members for pay-and-train sessions alongside their regular club training, while others reserve certain time slots for members only. Each track's own page shows exactly what's on offer, so you'll know before you book.
Cancelled bookings are non-refundable and carry a £1.50 admin fee to cover processing - but in many cases the track can simply reschedule your session to a different date or time at no extra cost instead. See our full cancellation policy for details.
Yes - you can select several time slots in one booking, which works well for back-to-back sessions or a small squad training together. For larger group or event bookings, the track's contact details are on its profile page so you can arrange the details directly with them.
