Work off the Christmas dinner and get some fresh air in Preston Park on Boxing Day. Run up to four laps of the main park (depending on age group), approximately 1.1 miles each. Open to all. Meet by the Chalet Café. (What3words: front.shark.kind.) All money raised (after expenses) to go to local children's charity Whoopsadaisy. Payment of entry donation on the day (non-obligatory but £5 is suggested). Prizes for fancy dress only.
Venue facilities: car park, or local streets if full, fee payable for both. Public toilets. Defibrillator and first aid on site.
There will be a race walk judged under "B standard" starting 10 minutes before the run and sharing much of the same course.
