The Green Drive Five, organised by Lytham St Annes
Road Runners, takes place on Sunday 18th October at 9:30am. Taking its
name from the leafy Lytham lane where it starts and finishes, the 26th edition of this Autumn classic hosts the Lancashire 5-mile Road Race Championships and
attracts runners of all levels from beginners to elite. The 5-mile course is
certified accurate and will be chip-timed. All finishers will receive a
souvenir t-shirt.
Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 male and female
finishers, age group winners and bonuses will be offered for the overall male
and female course record.
The Junior Mile will precede the 5-mile race, starting at
9:00am. This is a one mile out and back race on a traffic-free course for children
and younger runners aged 4 to 15. All finishers will receive a souvenir medal
and prizes will be awarded to first boy and girl.
